Some UX things that could be improved.

So one annoying thing in DP is the way it reacts to turning the Memory Cycle on or off. This nearly every time if there's virtual instruments in the tracks causes audible glitches. Other DAWs™ do not have this issue, or its rare.

I feel like this is the sort of little user interface issues that other users of other DAWs will balk at when evaluating DP.

I admit that doesn’t sound good, but I’m wondering what practical drawback is there to that? For example is somebody bouncing down or recording a project and they are turning memory cycle on or off while they’re doing that?

I mean we are dealing with audio here, mostly if you're turning cycle on or off while the sequencer is running it's going to be because you're working on it. Specifically if say you fixed a part you were looping, then you want to hear it in context, well in DP you either will want to stop the sequence to turn off the cycle before previewing or rewind so you can hear it without the glitch. Here at least it often skips an entire chunk of MIDI notes.

IMO it's one of those things that people are so used to, they forget how much better it is when it doesn't happen.
