I was afraid maybe that post I saw was incorrect, but it was true. El Juan is now $29.99.

Free Mastering The Mix Limiter on April 1, 5pm GMT

Free Mastering The Mix Limiter on April 1, 5pm GMT

Looks like they are giving away 25,000 free copies tomorrow, April 1, at 5pm GMT. I just asked Alexa and that's 10am here in California, so I guess I'll go ahead and give it a shot then.

Looks like this has gone LIVE already.

No idea if it's any good but it was easy to download, install and authorize — once I figured out which links got me what I was looking for (no, not interested in downloading WinZip!). I like that I can uncheck those products that don't interest me. After you give them your info, they email a license. Authorization is easy as long as one reads the instructions to see where the license goes—again, not intuitive.

Agreed. It was a bit convoluted but I got my copy also. LOL... not sure I'll even use it. I think I'm becoming a plugin hoarder!! LOL

Spectral Plugins now free

Post by stubbsonic »

I wasn't familiar with their products, but saw the sad announcement on another forum that they are going out of business, and offering up their plugins for free download. It's always a bummer when a developer does big work and then can't make ends meet. This is a very crowded industry.

The requirement is to sign up for a newsletter, and then the download links are provided right away. I see three included FX, and it's probably best to just look at them. They seem to defy a simple explanation.

I'm not seeing any details about system requirements, so I'll have to report back after I install. (If I do). Since there is no possibility of updates, you'd be enjoying them on an as-is basis.

Ah thanks. I can install them on my 2012 MBP-- which is probably good, because that machine will probably not get (m)any more OS updates.

BFD Player

Sorry if this was already listed (I didn't find any results after searching), but I came across this on the BFD website today. I already have BFD3, but this looks like it could be useful for someone:

Free, but what’s the point? Sweet adds a little midrange. The Vintagizer sounds like a broken $19.99 Radio Shack cassette player. The others could be called “Murky”.

I just pass ‘em along. I’m not advocating or asking to debate the plug-in. Someone may want to try it?? Image

Current Soniccouture Freebies

Post by mikehalloran »

All work in the free Kontakt Player

I haven't visited this page in years. MUSIC BOXES is a favorite of mine and I have used THUNDERDRUM a couple times.

https://www.soniccouture.com/en/free-stuff/

The other three are HAMMERSMITH FREE (Steinway D subset of HAMMERSMITH PRO), RMI ROCKSICHORD and TAPE CHOIR —
A project to recreate the famous vocal choir pad sound from 10cc's 'I'm Not In Love'.
Hmmmm... I have tickets to see the current version of 10cc in August.
