MOTUNATION (formerly UnicorNation) is an independent community for discussing Digital Performer and other MOTU audio software and hardware. It is not affiliated with MOTU.
It should with the MOTU but will it work in your PC? Does it require drivers? If so, I wouldn’t buy without return privileges,
10GBe is overkill for the 828es if that’s the only reason you are getting it. OTOH, affordable routers and other peripherals that support 10GBe are coming to market. My next WiFi router will (waiting for prices to come down) and, when WD or Seagate introduce a NAS box that supports it and Time Machine, I’ll likely buy one. Apple has been supporting 10GB Ethernet since 2017 on some Macs including two of mine,

You will be better off with a simple USB connection. AVB is perfect for connecting devices but, last time I checked, USB (and Thunderbolt, of course) offer a lower-latency connection to PCs.
One always realize a typo after clicking "submit".
I'm in search of low latency and more inputs. In fact for a Motu 8A cause it has a USB3 port but it's nowhere to find. So I thought "direct" AVB could be a solution. Well, to your conclusion I was wrong. Another option could be the Sonnettech Solo10G Adapter? There are Windows drivers available. Question is will it all work together, Motu gear, ASIO drivers, Cubase, Ableton? RME has the Digiface AVB but again, will it all work?

Without knowing what you are trying to accomplish, all we can do is guess.
The 828es supports Thunderbolt and "High speed USB 2.0" both of which are much faster than Gigabyte Ethernet (very little real world speed difference, by the way). As I responded earlier, there are many reasons to upgrade to 10GBe but the 828es is not one of them.
AVB brings a lot to the table but do you need or want that? We don't know. That's why I linked the manual.
Likewise, the clown car that is Windows drivers—you will need to do some research on your own as to what plays nicely with the others (good luck with that if you are also a gamer). BTW, I don't know if that Sonnett card requires drivers; that's why I asked. If we know your proposed setup, it's possible that someone might be able to give you more guidance than I.
Oh, you can edit the title in your original post.

I did some more research and the Sonnettech route it too difficult I think if not impossible.
I came across a way more expensive option: RME Digiface AVB
In black is my current setup. In orange what i would like to achieve. (The "Another Motu could be 828ES or 8M)

I own some more effect pedals I would like to use as insert in my DAW's. So more channels and preferably less latency. As USB2 can handle 64 channels max (if I'm right) and USB3 / Thunderbolt 128 I want to expand. Will this configuration work? On the RME forum they write about MILAN protocol and I have found a threat about that here too.
