Re: Chick Corea RIP
Such a shock as he lived such a healthy lifestyle and was actively engaged socially just a few days ago, but it was a rare (and quick) form of cancer that was only recently detected.
Probably no other modern pianist in any genre had a bigger impact on my musical arranging style and my approach to writing than Chick. I saw him live many times, and each time was a memorable experience that remains etched into my brain more than almost any other concerts I have attended.

Re: Chick Corea RIP
No mate, only the world's richest female rapper (Nikki Minaj) and the world's most unintelligible singer (Ariana Grande).

We're officially in-the-poo now. MonkeyLab Industries is gonna clean up.

Re: Chick Corea RIP

To answer your question seriously:
We've still got Herbie Hancock, but yeah, the big names of that era sure are thin-on-the-ground now.
