controller 21

Hi all, i can’t seem to get controller 21 into DP.
So 21 controls vibrato and i have that on slider 3 on my nano controller. It all worked fine until a few days ago. if i reassign a different controller number to slider 3 it appears in DP as i play it in.
If i assign controller 21 to a different slider nothing appears.
if i draw controller 21 into DP it works fine.
I’ve looked at a few DP filter things but am not entirely sure what i’m doing. it’s a pain having to draw it in.

Is it excluded in the input filter (cmd-F)?

no, the box is clear and i have 'all' selected.

You need to use a third party hosting/cloud service to post a link to images.
Did CC 21 somehow get defined in the Commands window (cmd-L)? Try turning off Master Master in Commands if you have it checked to test.

turned off master commands and controller 21 is back so what do i do now?

taking a wild guess here, saw that controller 21 was assigned to copy, deleted it and it works, is that the correct thing to do?

Look for it in the Commands window and remove the entry. It will be listed in the MIDI Event column. Or if you don't use any MIDI commands, just leave Master Master unchecked, but remember it's there if you change your mind.
