So far so good, i didnt have any problem from opening a track from 10.3.9 project, i had computer digital sync with my lap top though. Besides that, i think the ones who has g5 is better to upgrade, and those who has g4 , better stick with panther.

I have had the Crash-On-Quit problem since installing 10.4.4. I never had it before.

Check to make sure the update did not re-install the iSight plugin(Library>Audio>Plugins>HAL>iSight). Sometimes it does, even it you deleted it before.

Hi Dave,

This plugin has been verified to cause crash on quit in the past. I agree with our Alien friend that it bears removing, at least to test if the issue is still with us.

I just checked to see if I still had the plug (had once removed it) and it was back in there. Probably from a previous update. No crash on quits though. Took it out again to be safe. Doing the upgrade to 10.4.4 now.....

A plague of stuck MIDI notes....

Post by misentropic »

4.61 and Tiger have been a mess for me. My drivers are all updated but I am plagued by hanging MIDI notes. I have gone back and forth with MOTU tech support and all they will tell me is that is seems like an "OS" problem. Neither helpful nor helpful. I did not have this problem before Tiger and running 4.11
