MIDI Plugins ?

Post by mfny »

Hello,

I am attempting to use some MIDI plugins, namely Rapid Composer.

I can not see any way in DP9 to enable me to send the MIDI output of a plugin to the MIDI input of another.

Is there some way to do this that I may be missing or is it just not possible in DP ?

There might be a way. It might involve an intermediary step, like creating a port. I can't remember what that's called in DP.

create an instrument track and put rapid composer on it

Then create a MIDI track

make sure multirecord is enabled

configure the input for the MIDI track to be the output from rapid composer which should now be showing as a MIDI src.

That's it.
