This is a new and puzzling problem, and I'm simplifying the setup a bit to make it clear what's going on. I have three instances of Mach5 in a project. There are two audio tracks with a drumbeat providing the pulse.
Mach5 A has four tracks of string samples. Mach5 B has a bass guitar. Mach5 C has a piano. When I have the Mach5 B window open, everything plays in synch. When I open A, C goes out of synch with the drums. When I open C, A goes out of synch.
Anybody seen this behavior before? I have recreated all three instances of Mach5 from scratch and still get the problem. Any ideas?

Re: instances of Mach5 3 going out of sync
update: turning on the Click track suddenly synched everything! And when the Click was turned off, it stayed synched! what the hell?
