Bryce and Aaron Dessner (of The National) started a beautiful, haunting score but weren't available to finish it, so I got to write the larger part of the film's original music.
ASCAP asked me to write a bit about the work process, so here it is. Lots of music examples there too.

Can you guess which DAW I used to write, record and mix this score? Can you? Huh?

Oh, and go see the film, in a theater if you can - it's gorgeous. Also available on demand via Amazon and a number of other VOD outlets.
