Problems with REX: Anyone Try REX In M5/DP 4.5??

I've tried, with MASSIVE failure, to import and successfully play REX converted files in M5.

I managed to take a RX file, and get it (seemingly) properly converted into M5, but once I pull it up onto a track, and drop a midifile on a track and hit play...instant unexpected quit.

Is anyone else having this problem, or success playing REX files in M5.

I'm running M5 and DP 4.5 on a Dual 2.5 G5 (3.5G RAM).

It seems trashing preferences for M5 and DP, regularly, is a prerequisite for any kind of stability in sample editting in the system.
