See the picture in my last post for arp example
If there is no instrument arp involved then I think you’re right you need some kind of MIDI destination to merge them and iac works for that and I can’t think of another way

Re: route MIDI from several tracks track to another MIDI track
May I ask why using IAC? It should be possible to route through instrument channel (for the arp) and merge all the MIDI to one track for recording, all without using IAC, just using internal MIDI bundles in DP... Not that it really matters that much, because basically the MIDI timestamp still gets r...

Re: Articulations triggering inconsistently
Also, if you are using art manager to channelize your articulations...then a similar problem is present in DP11, which is related to CC expression that needs to also get channelized along with notes. This is different than your scenario, but somewhat similar. In your situation you are using CC switc...

Re: Articulations triggering inconsistently
It is indeed quite possible that DP isn't chasing artmap generated CC messages. I will try to test for this on mac when i get a chance to see if it's happening there too. Another thing to keep in mind is that the artmap by design does not send redundant key switches. What I mean is that if say you h...

Re: validated plugins not showing up in effects browser
One theory I have right now is that these are MIDI plugins, meaning they might be coded with audio inputs/outputs, only MIDI. But they are compiled as FX plugins. And I think that might be why DP is hiding them from the effects browser...Cubase is able to use them, but it seems DP can only deal with...

Re: pregen start delay
That was painful. DP's plugin scanner sucks. Hours lost. However...pregen is working right now after completely removing all MOTU related files form my computer, and reinstalling DP11. So there you go... thanks for the tip to try that. Though...I just have to say...the plugin scanner freaking sucks....

Re: pregen start delay
we'll its good to hear that the behavior I am experiencing is not the normal expected behavior... some kind of buggy behavior thought. How to get rid of it here is the question. I have already tried things like rescanning all my plugins and reinstalling the app.

Re: validated plugins not showing up in effects browser
hehe I'll update my sig. Yes intel. Several plugins from MusicDevelopments (maker of Rapidcomposer), Melodya and MidiMutator. Then I just found another freebie one which I can send to you to try and see if it behaves the same for you. Just trying to get to the bottom of why this is happening, I don'...

pregen start delay
I have been using DP11 with VePro most of the time up until now, but recently I have been trying to see if I can switch to just using v-racks and came up with a new thing that has me baffled, wondering if this is normal behavior or buggy or what? basically when i previously used vePro, Pregen was no...

Re: validated plugins not showing up in effects browser
In this case they show up in dp’s preferences list of plugins, they pass examination and I have the check box check to enable them for use, but they do not show up in the effects browser window so that I can actually use them. Something is amis in dp. Just wondering how to fix it. It is affecting se...

validated plugins not showing up in effects browser
I have a few plugins that have passed validation and are checked/enable for use, but they do not show up in either the instrument or fix browser. I can't seem to find any way to insert them into a track. Anyone have any idea why this might be or is it a bug of some kind?

Re: Template Approaches
I am also starting to stash some MIDI device groups into my main quick start template (in addition to bundles). Am able to have some drum maps for various drum plugins I use that way.

Re: Track aliases?...I don't think its possible
I personally have never found a reason or need to use aliased regions in LogicPro for example. I'm not saying someone else might find it useful, but I think its just one approach, but not the only way to get music done, I think there are probably very very situations where that particular feature wo...
