I chatted with MOTU and apparently there is a MIDI driver issue with windows. I am not sure if this is an issue with the latest driver posted on 8/23/23 or if it is an ongoing issue, but they are working on it.

I am on a windows machine and installed the Gen 5 software for the ultralite MK5, but the MIDI in and out ports are not visible from Reaper or any vst in standalone mode.
