Re: Automation Data & V-Racks

The only problem with V racks is that it does hold any automation data for obvious reasons.
Not sure if any automation data could be inserted to MIDI tracks for that V rack instrument.

Re: Stretch MIDI?

I'm thinkin'... why not just compose the music to your specs in the first place? lol There is a saying... You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have. Being creative is good for musicians, that is exactly why there are ways provided in DP for the musicians., After all, DP is mu...

Re: More than 4 MIDI ports??

I had similar problems, due to Windows MIDI device limit.
Go to device manager,MIDI devices, show hidden items and check if there are other MIDI devices installed in the system.
Delete or uninstall those unused devices and check again.

May be you take a look at Matts video of this week in FaceBook.
He describes how mono/stereo aux buses and mono / stereo inserts on them work.

Re: Newbie Introduction and curious about V-Racks

If you are using multiple sequences in a project that share the same instruments, you may consider the V Rack (Virtual rack) to load those instruments. It saves on the loading time when switching between sequences. (Particularly good if you are doing live show) Otherwise you may never need the V rac...

Re: Advanced Routing Shenanigans, Mute Toggles, and A/B/Cing things.

I remember James made a video using two masters, then moving the one of the masters to the left.
The left most master gets active. You can compare two masters with different plugins.
Easier than making sub masters.

Re: Creating a MIDNAM File for a Roland JD-Xi - RESOLVED

Cakewalk used something like this. Not sure of the extension or name (.ins) These files can be edited with text editor for different hardware synths. 1000s of files for almost every hardware synth are available in the net. For those who want to create their own MIDNAM files, they can use the cakewal...

Re: MIDI Configuration, What MIDI Configuration?

Did you upgrade to Win 10 or a fresh install?
Have a look at the device manager.
Delete whatever old MIDI devices etc that you are not using..

Re: DP 11 and Mac Studio Ultra underperforming?

You might be overloading one core in which too much audio is processed. May be you should Try processing the audio in two separate tracks. Say.. 3 plugins in one track send the audio to another track with the other 3 plugins, so more cores are used in the heavy lifting..-Just guessing this might wor...

One way is to export the selected MIDI tracks to type 0 and import in another track.
I have not tried in DP, but should work.
