Re: ClockWorks for MTP/av still working in Lion?

No problem :)

I made small partition with Snow Leopard in case I would need to run Clockworks under Rosetta and installed Lion on second, big partition mostly for testing purposes.

It appears that MOTU still cares about MIDI, though

Re: ClockWorks for MTP/av still working in Lion?

Hi,

It seems that there is new MIDI driver and Clockworks console on MOTU's site. I've tested it with my MIDI Express XT and Lion and it works :)

Cheers,

Mac

A small update... I was investigating E-OR in my free time. It appears that profile maker uses low level assembly-like programming language for creating profiles. The problem is I am not a programmer... Good news is that my friend from Sweden is a programmer and he can write code in assembly languag...

Has anyone actually used Midiquest? I've heard little to no actual firsthand feedback. I've been checking the demo... Well, this is going to be entirely from dinosaur's point of view, but Unisyn 2.0 on my OS9 G3 Beige Tower 333 MHz is very fast. Also, the interface is clear and ellegant. MIDI Quest...

I am going different route. As I am using Unisyn 2.0 on OS9, there is no problem with compatibility of profiles with Atari ST's XoR. I've purchased original copy of XoR 2.0 for Atari ST and the manual states that profiles are interchangeable with OS9 Unisyn. I've read the manual for EoR (included wi...

Re: I can help, sort of

I'm sorry to hear that! Did you offer to sign a NDA and pledge not to bother anybody with questions? Maybe I could put in a word for you?* If you'd be so kind, I would be very grateful. Some time ago, I thought that getting NDA for Korg OASYS PCI (to write new synths/FX) was difficult. Well, 2 mail...

Re: I can help, sort of

Perhaps, if you talk to the right person at MOTU (Magic Dave, I would suggest) and demonstrate that you're serious (e.g. by signing their non-disclosure agreement) and that you have some technical aptitude, they'll let you have it - with the understanding that you're entirely on your own. -Bob Than...

If you can find an old copy of E-or(the companion editor for X-or on Mac or Atari ST), you can use that to generate profiles, then import them into the newer version of Unisyn. I have sent an email to Emile Tobenfeld asking him if there is a possibility to release EoR as freeware and/or source code...

Re: To create a new profile

Hello, I'm new here.

I've asked the same question to MOTU support some time ago. They said that they use proprietary software to write profiles. Also, there are no plans to release end user version of it.
