Re: DP 8 shutting down same spot of the song [RESOLVED]

No Shooshie, it wasn't just play suspending. DP quit (turned off, disappeared from the screen, had to be reopened) every time it got to the same exact point in the song. Funny, if I took the swiper just past that point of the song and started play again, it played the rest of the song just fine. So ...

DP 8 shutting down same spot of the song [RESOLVED]

I just finished recording all the tracks to a new song, and all tracks and everything was great then suddenly (after doing a bunch of pitch correction as my singing leaves much to be desired). DP 8 keeps shutting down at exactly the same spot in the song. Its driving me crazy. If I place the swiper ...

Help converting to 44.1 to burn CD

In past (using DP 6) I would mix all my tracks to a single stereo audio track via a stereo BUS then convert the New mixed channel only to 44.1. I would then bounce that track to disc along with a master track. No when I do the same on DP 8, the original 48 KHz mix channel sounds fine, but when I con...

Bass drum still heard but cant see the notes in drum editor

Hey guys, hope this hasn't already been answered in past posts, but I couldn't find it in my search. I am working on a tune that is near complete. Using DP8 and superior drummer 2 (all other tracks are audio tracks. I was going to go back and make some minor changes to my drum programming when I not...

Re: Please help me transfer my MIDI drum tracks from PC to M

Just an update. Exported the file emailed to myself as an attachment and dragged into my drum track. Worked like a charm. Thanks for the great ideas.

Re: Wandering Internal clock

Im using no interface with the lap top (just programming drums with the intent to transfer the drum tracks to my iMac where all other tracking/mixing etc. Is to be performed.). I use an 828mkii on the iMac, but that obviously has no bearing on my problem. I use whatever driver came with the laptop (...

Wandering Internal clock

I have been using DP since DP4.5. Recently with the availability for windows, I have decided to take advantage of writing my MIDI drum tracks (I use Superior Drummer 2.0) on my lap top (getting me out of the basement studio for a bit). I was very excited about this until I realized I must be having ...

Please help me transfer my MIDI drum tracks from PC to MAC

Hey guys I searched and couldn't find my answer. I just upped to DP 8 and bought a new imac 27", 3.4 Ghz, 1 TB fusion drive, 2 TB TIme Capsule, 32 GB Ram (hooray). Given that DP now runs on PC and mac and the fact that my MIDI drum tracks take me a long time to program, I would like to do the d...

transfering dp file from one computer to another.

Well my still functioning Power Mac G5 (pre Power PC) though still as reliable as ever is finally antiquated ,cant run DP 8. I had been wanting "more power Scotty" for some time now so that was my excuse. I just picked up a new iMac 27", 3.4 GHz, 32 GB ram,.1 TB fusion drive and 2 TB ...
