I just noticed that on version 3 a lot of effects from version 2 are no longer available... I emailed them to see if the new version overrides the previous version or just installs along side of it. It installs alongside it--I'm still using the V2 effects with version 3 in action. This is good news...

As soon as I get home I'm upgrading to version 3 for $99.00 which will include the new Analog TrackBox. Wow it looks awsome. Timing is good to finish off my last project. :P OOPS I just noticed a...

Don't know about Super Duper but I use Carbon Copy Cloner to backup the whole system disk. With a nice bootable option feature. I just miss a reliable incremental backup utility for my audio files disk. I had no success with Silverkeeper, failing to take my files. Any advice ? I also have Carbon Co...

From what I see of you presently being on OS9, you're starting over from scratch anyways, cause if you have any third party plugs none of them would be compatible. So in that case go for version 5. Get to know it good and slowly work your way up with the other options you may be interested in one at...

Really strange. This has happened to me twice in a row. With 4.4 and 4.5. I'd get a kernal panick each ntime. So I decided to instal them on my back-up drive and voila it worked. Then I errased the main HD and did a Restore and all is fine. Just wish I new why.

Go for the raptors. I've got three 74gb raptors in my system. Even my operating system is a raptor.

Plus now they just came out with a 150gb raptor with 16mb buss. WOW.
