Is the pitch correct ?
Do any of you have external clocking ?

Hi Björnin!

Pitch is correct. Only the clocking from the audio interface. I'm on an RME Firefce 400 and I don't know what my colleue is using

Re: Mismatching timing, Logic vs DP

Logic Pro/Preferences/Audio.../Devices Recording Delay Slider Should be set to zero. The test should be for them to put a short tick pulse right on some beat-- then you can see how many samples off it is (if that slider is on zero). Thanks! I sent this to him already! I'll get back when he has trie...

Re: Mismatching timing, Logic vs DP

Thanks Mike! It seems that it is an issue about the starting point. The lenght of the tracks seem to be correct. His .aiff's are not time strached in any way. It just looks like one of us haven't got the right starting point. Which we think we have assured that we both have. It's like one of our DAW...

Mismatching timing, Logic vs DP

Hi friends! C19 prevents me and my singer from meeting up in my studio. And we are recording our parts remotely. Every bounce I send him is no longer matching the startingpoint in my friends LociPro project. And every vocal line he sends me is out of timing by seconds. • Both projects are in the sam...

Re: Where to find CC64
If you want real-time control, IMO, this is the wonderfullest: https://www.tecontrol.se/products/usb-midi-breath-bite-controller-2 Their BC-only version (no bite or tilt) is less expensive. Lovely app provided with either version provides attack, release and sensitivity control for every CC...

Re: Where to find CC64
I think you may well find it handy for many different sounds, not just piano! I am a controller maniac... sustain, expression, aftertouch, breath control, bite, mod wheel. Depending on the sound, one, several or many of these may be called into play at any given moment, but I find controlle...

Re: Where to find CC64

Assuming you have some sort of keyboard controller, I'd suggest you simply purchase a pedal; nominal cost, and so intuitive and easy to add your sustain messages that way! You can add sustain on-off in a separate track, assigned to the same piano VI as notes, if you want to record sustain message i...

Re: Where to find CC64

When you select the sustain CC in the drop up menu, there's a checkbox immediately to the left of the drop up that when selected only shows the events that match the drop up. You should be able to edit those. Also if you show the CC info as lines you should be able to edit those more easily without...

Re: Where to find CC64

Thank you so much CharlzS!! I also found the controler in the drop "up" menu in the MIDI-editor. But it is not working. IThe MIDI-editor won't let me see the on-velocities either. This is a probelem that comes back to me all the time. I can only edit the velocities in the SE or with the ne...

Where to find CC64

I'm working with a piano library from East West but own no sustain pedal. I would like to plot the pedal movements into the MIDI-editor. The manual from EastWest says "use CC64" if you don't have a pedal. How do I do that? I would assume the CC64 corresponds to an unused key. I have tried ...

Re: New Mac for my DP projects. What to get?

Thanks you all for your wisdoms!

I will consider 4TB Internal SSD. I probably get back here when it's time to find the correct RAM-sticks.

Have a great week!

Re: New Mac for my DP projects. What to get?

Oh, what a fantastic, in-depth reply! Thank so much Mike! The iMac Pro is beyond my budget. I'll have to settle for the 27 iMac. But I assume the the i9 processor is a good option? RAM. When buying RAM from a third party maker I have to find the right thing in the tech-djungle here! I had no idea ab...

Re: Change Meter to traditional 10 beat pattern

Çok kolay olacak! First a question, though: do you want it to click only on the first beat of each group, or on all 10 beats with an accent on the first beat of each group? Hello! Thanks for chiming in! Exactly! The first 16th in every beat group: long-long-short-short (3+3+2+2). How do I achive th...
