have you tried pathfinder ?
greatest filemanager on the plenet on any OS in my opinion and it also adds an icon on the top menu which is a little like Windows start menu b ut has a bit more to it

anyway the test drive for a month is free so go grab it

DP 4.6 works like a charm over here, that's with Panther (10.3.9). I'm sometimes wondering if the issues are 4.6/Tiger-related. But what do I know. . now i'm seeing these mac mini's for less than a grand out the door. the hard drive was an issue, but now they ship with 5400rpm. i use a lacie external firewire, so that would survive the leap. i'm real close to buying a mini. any last minute words of wisdom could save this broke cat some headach...

and if you install 4.6 and save something then revert back like i did 4.52 wont open a 4.6 file it is not good.. too risky and why should i have to reinstall my whole system to get it to possibly work. there was not alot wrong with 4.52 i never had any hassles but 4.6 was the only update i have inst...

I celebrated with a new Imac 17" 2ghz machine and Installed DP 4.52 (I dont like 4.6) so here's hopeing it is a nice new marriage and better than my powerbook It is dedicated to DP and music recording only so should be sweet
