How about we stay on topic.
Let's avoid humor of a "political" nature on the board, okay? It's not as innocuous as more general humor and it is offensive to some. Thanks.

The problem definitely seems to be fixed. I had this problem with all versions after 1.08, but now it is gone. It seems to have been related to systems with the Sonnet processor upgrade card. Brian Thanks! Thats great news. I hadn't gotten around to trying it yet. I have a Mega Systems (or somethin...

Change your dock preferences to move it to the right, make it smaller, and turn off magnification and it's pretty much out of the way. I don't know why they don't make it default to the right of the screen instead of teh bottom. Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that. Same weirdness happens though...

Slow load problem fixed?
Just curious. I too was one of the people suffering from excruciatingly long times to load instruments in MachFive. I to downgrade to 1.08 or something. Has anyone found out if this is solved. I know this was a rare issue that didn't affect too many.

I only wanted to point out that it is indeed happening here. Some crackers have even been so bold as to freely admit stealing and then relying on the site for answers sans manual. Well here's the deal. I can't read every single post that happens here. If something happens as you describe above, tha...

It's almost like UNation is a part of the current software cracking system- Now THAT'S INSULTING!!! I resent that. We're firmly against it here. What would you have me do? I deleted one guy's account already, but I have no way of proving someone shouldn't be on this board unless they admit pirating...

Wow guys... I've been a little busy and haven't had time to respond to this thread. In fact, I still don't. For starters, let's try and keep the OT discussion to a minimum. Like the MOTU-MAC email list, the board policy and such isn't really the topic of discussion. As for this matter, policing it w...

I should let Jim comment on that, since he'd know the exacty signal path. I'll e-mail him this thread and maybe he can say. I can tell you that on the rhythm guitars you are listening to Les Paul Standard with Duncan Alnico II Pro pickup in the bridge into a modded 1979 100-watt Marshall MkII Master...

OT from Admin: Song Done In DP
Hey all... many of you know Jim Watson who coordinates the MOTU-MAC dinner each year at NAMM in Anaheim. Well, he's also an awesome drummer, producer, and DP jockey. We recorded one of my songs together, with him playing drums and me doing guitar, vocals, and bass. This was all done in Digital Perfo...

I hate the dock...
I'm sorry to vent, but I'm not liking the Dock at all. I think it's a waste of screen space... and the "Hide" thing doesn't help. One example is that in DP, if you save a screen set with bottom edge of a DP window in the area where the dock would be if it were not hidden, upon recall of th...

Kubi... you're da bomb! That did the trick. I opened the AIFF exported by DP in SoundHack, saved a copy, and then I could encode the copy with AudioCatalyst. I haven't A/B'd them closely, but my first impression is that there's a little more high-end in the AudioCatalyst conversion. Some of my best ...
