Re: Some very odd MIDI issues happening

Please check your MIDI Masters in the Commands window. You may have some transport controls assigned to some keyboard notes or MIDI controllers. Thank you! They were all Transport Masters. Once I deleted them the madness stopped. Now if I can just get my Presonus Firepod to work running Lion on my ...

Re: Some very odd MIDI issues happening

NO ONE has had this issue where MIDI is making a DP project act oddly? All I have to do is plug in the usb MIDI interface and the program goes nuts. The fact that the sequencers don't behave this way with MIDI makes me suspicious.

I guess for my MIDI drumming I am going to R..... or Logic.

Sad :(

Some very odd MIDI issues happening

When I use any (Roland TD20 into Midi-man USB or Motu Micro USB) MIDI USB device with the latest version of DP7 DP starts wigging out. It activates everything in the program like there is a ghost in the machine. It records and stops and plays and rewinds. Almost like it is triggering the program. Wh...

64 acorns fell onto the roof of the home studio just this week.

Fun demo. The complete Roland V-Studio package retails for 4400.00 USD.

Re: Snow Leopard Aug 28. Who are the brave ones?

For now no way. 10.6 is a less bloated version of 10.5 and should make the production side of things a bit better for the end user. I think I will wait for 10.6.1 to hit the purchase button.

Re: How many 5.13 people waiting to upgrade?

I still use 5.13 for work but 6.02 for home recording use.

Re: Troubleshooting my DP6 issues...

Leopard PPC, Tiger PPC or a Intel MacPro who knows... DP5.13 works smart on my PPC Leopard rig and DP6 caused me delay. Either I budget for a Macpro in April and change with the times or I don't. :? ---- On a much happier note: I went to see and hear Zappa play Zappa on 3/7 and it was the kind of pe...

Re: Troubleshooting my DP6 issues...

mg, I am trying to figure this mystery out so bare with me. Regarding your PPC running 10.5.6 did you go from 5.13 to 6.02 cold turkey? If so did you remove 5.13 completly then install 6.02? The big concern for me that I have allot of archived recording data on 5.13. Therefore I might need to access...

Re: Troubleshooting my DP6 issues...

I think DP6 is going back in the box for now. I can handle the MacPro purchase but I would also need to upgrade everything else to make the transition complete and I like 10.5.6. DP 5.13 works great and that leaves me with the possible pocket change to upgrade to an Apogee AD16 and a Lavry DA10 when...

Re: Troubleshooting my DP6 issues...

Hi, I repaired Permissions and I un-installed and re-installed the software but always the same issues. My experience does remind me of DP5 right when Leopard came to the scene and then Motu fixed DP with 5.1.3 and then it worked great again. I have a feeling that either I upgrade or just use DP6 on...

Troubleshooting my DP6 issues...

I just upgraded to DP_6.0.2. I first installed the software on my current Intel Macbook running 10.5.6 and it works flawlessly. I then installed it on my Dual 2.0 G5 running 10.5.6 and I am having some problems. I cannot open a new project, I cannot configure my hardware driver and I cannot even clo...

Re: Hi, new here have some issues with my ultralite mk3

What are your specs?

When I hooked up my Ultralite Mk3 to my Macbook for the first few times I did not push in the Firewire cable far enough into the FW 400 port on the Macbook.

Also check your computers audio core settings to see if it shows up there and then select it.
