Re: Unisyn & Snow Leopard?

I just installed Unisyn 2.1.1 on a 6 core Mac Pro running Snow Leopard with no problems. I didn't have to use Rosetta. No problems yet, but I haven't hooked anything up to see. I got it because I have an incredible EMU B3 module and the data wheel is messed up. In any event, you can certainly instal...

How can I monitor 8Pre audio in DP?

Hi, first post here! It seems simple enough, I am using DP7 with Kontakt 4. I am using an Alesis D4 drum module. I'd like to record drum parts on the D4, run the D4 through the 8Pre and monitor it in DP. But when I choose the 8Pre in Configure Hardware Driver, I can't hear the Kontakt module. When I...

I just bought Kontakt 2.2, and am using it with DP live on an Intel MacBookPro. I've found one problem that is a killer. When I have a Kontakt instrument loaded, somhow it triggers mt Alesis QSR module at random times. It makes no sense, and the people at Native Instruments haven't gotten back to me...

Delay on playthrough, no Direct Hardware Playthrough option

My Mac should be plenty fast to avoid delays when I am playing a virtual instrument (Dual 2.3 GHz, 2 GB RAM). The MOTU Support page said that I should "should use direct hardware playthrough if your hardware supports it. This setting can be accessed from Setup/Configure Audio System/Input Monit...

Thanks for all of the help. I got through to MOTU and it turns out (at least it seems to have turned out for now) that my buffer size in the Configure Hardware driver was set too high. I reset it to 1024 and the bounces have been OK. I also took the offered advice here, and am now recording a mix to...

Dropouts on Bounce: I am REALLY starting to hate DP5!

OK, as a newly returning newbie, I expect a few bumps in the road, but... I complete an audio track, then Bounce To Disk as an AIFF file. When I listen to the completed file, it drops all audio at random times. I have repeated this with the same result. I have followed the instructions TO THE LETTER...

HELP!!!! Can DP5 open DP3.1 files?

Hi everyone, I recently got back into the MOTU world, having upgraded from an ancient version of Performer I hadn't used since 1997. I like DP5 OK so far (although the fact that they refuse to adapt to standard keyboard shortcuts drives me CRAZY!) but I feel like a total newbie after all these years...
