I’m finding for instance, the Rode Soundfield plug isn’t yet updated, and you gotta have it to use the ambisonic mic they sell. ?!?! Appears a similar fate for several other mic pattern decoder plugs.

Re: VCA's and bounce?

Ok, thanks folks. That's a drag, they would solve other problems, like the behavior of solo when tracks are routing through aux busses. I was able to use a VCA to set the levels, then de-assign it leaving the new levels intact, then bounce. Still maybe better than the alternatives. Google search.......

VCA's and bounce?

First time using VCA's here. Search here ignores 'VCA' when I try it, so..... VCA levels work fine on playback, but are ignored in a bounce, and after the bounce the VCA levels are ignored too. If I change VCA source back to none and then back to the group, they are as intended. I've tried deleting ...

2 diff TB cables and 2 diff apple TB/USB-C adapters, all swap options including different ports changed nothing. Moved to USB a week ago, problem apparently gone. The TB cables are old and have been used individually, and swapped out occasionally over a number of years. The apple TB/USB-C adapters w...

Re: Masterworks Gate has no linked controls for stereo? I forget this over and over....

Well, that is weird, guys. I tested it before posting, and tested it again. It still works for me. I wish I could help you figure this out. Here's a question: Does holding down Command while changing parameters on any stock DP plug-in make a difference, as far as fine-tuning is concerned? Yes, comm...

Re: MOTU 16A Recurring Hardware Problem: Low Power Detected Rebooting

I received my replacement power supply board yesterday. I have not yet gotten around to disconnecting my 16A, pulling it out of the rack, and replacing the board, but will be doing that soon. Regarding the overall unit operating temperature -- I have not noticed the front of the 16A chassis feeling...

Re: Masterworks Gate has no linked controls for stereo? I forget this over and over....

Yes, the Option key will link the controls, and Command is for more fine-tuned adjustments. You can press them both down at the same time to make fine-tuned adjustments to left and right simultaneously. That does not work here in DP11.22. I went through every control/option/command/+shift combo and...

....and don't understand it. It's seriously unwieldy. 12 knobs to set individually on a stereo source rather than a linked 6 pair!

Yes, $30 availability is amazing. The manuals on these AVB units say leave empty rack space above and below and they mean it. I had to run one at a live event for an hour with no space in a rack, and the heat was terrifying. Cap killer for sure.

Re: MOTU 16A Recurring Hardware Problem: Low Power Detected Rebooting

Yep, seems a recap of the power supply section is a common theme here. These run so hot, so caps are gonna cook. I would like clarity in the change in MOTU’s service policy, it seems the last few years there just isn’t any out of warranty service.
