Did Motu remove the resize button in this update? In DP8, Mach 5 opens to my main monitor size with no way to shrink it to my 2nd monitor screen size where it used to reside.

I'm using Dp 8.04, when you release the last soloed track you've select in the mixer, didn't the last one also turn off the master solo button on the control panel. Did this disappear from maybe Dp7 or earlier? or am i just missing something.......again?

Have session in one hour. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing . Have 896 running 4.6 on g4. Borrowed 828 and what to record with both on gig tonight. Can see both in firewire control panel and in audio MIDI set up. Have 896 as master and clock. Why can't I see both in dp at same time in audio bundle...

I started using Encore, 10 yrs. ago (painful) then up to Finale through 2003a, more painful, transcribing and arranging for big band. I'm using latest Sibelius and find it smooth and very user friendly. Unless they have completely rewritten the code for Finale, I wouldn't reccomend it to a new user....

Usual modes found here: Repair permissions?......................You might try in DP, Preferences: Turn off beat analysis. Reinstalling DP and UPDATE drivers........ This cloud shall pass, hang in there.

for what it's worth, did you get latest MIDI drivers?

I purchased, from smalldog.com a refurb g4 dual gig, almost 3 yrs. ago and had no problems. That is since going to 10.3+. The accumulation of old software and updates is a major pain in the ass!
