My Mac has just started nagging me to do 13.6.6. Needless to say, I'm reluctant, so that is why I’m starting a new Ventura topic for shared experiences. Thanks to all in advance.

I'm watching this thread too.

Updating to Ventura from Monterey seriously messed up DP for me. I wonder if this update can help fix things...or the opposite. Previous point-updates haven't helped anything.

From what Mike quoted looks like it was just a courtesy update to patch some security vulnerabilities. I wouldn't expect it to make much difference, unfortunately. :(

Why are you guys not updating to Sonoma? What does it break for you?

I am very reluctant to update but I finally went there and everything I use is working ok.

OS upgrades can be a crapshoot. As I mention above, updating to Ventura broke some crucial functionality in DP for me (and only me apparently!) that no one has been able to fix. There were a few things in Ventura I needed, but I sorely regret the decision to upgrade....demonstrating the hard way that YMMV is not simply a platitude

Sorry to hear it, how very annoying. I generally wait years (I went from Big Sur to Sonoma, missing out Monterey and Ventura all together. That's how long I waited. Haha) and I dont remember why I upped when I did.

Sonoma might improve things. Could it be worse? Well, of course it could. Dont listen to me!

Ha! Believe me I’ve considered it! But you rarely hear stories of OS upgrades fixing non-Apple software issues. More often they introduce new ones.
