Is the spdif out of the Ulmk5 a separate output ?

Hi there

I've got a basic question, but as I don't have any way to test it I'm not sure of the answer.

Is the spdif out of the Ultralite mk5 audio device a separate output, so I can physically output 11 different channels from the device instead of only 10 ?

Or differently said, can I set 11 channels outputs in Ableton Live, the 11th one being the spdif output ?

By the way, IF the spdif is a separate output, what channel is it in a DAW ?

11-12 ?
Or something else ?

It will state this in the specs on the MOTU site.

Unless they're mistaken, it's a separate output, so is the headphones.
