Inspired Acoustics Inspirata Lite Updated

Other versions may have been updated too. Updated from 1.0.29 to 1.0.30. Might have happened a while ago and I just missed it. :)

wavesequencer (Tracktion) Hyperion Updated

Post by James Steele »

Just ran the Tracktion Download Manager to see that Hyperion has been updated from v.1.4.2 to 1.4.3.

Here is the changlog:
Hyperion Synth v1.43 information:
=================================

Bug fixes/enhancements:
-----------------------

File render issue in FL studio with variable block size enabled (dropped frame causes a glitch at the start of the audio file) - fixed.
Updates to improve audio block handling in general.

Fix to prevent reverb wet/dry control smoothing from 'dry' on plugin reset (which can also be triggered before file renders) - reverb wet/dry smoothing only enabled for delay changes (the reverb nodes are set to dry before delay time changes to prevent noise).

Meta-data update fix for file saving - populate the save dialog with the last saved/current state patch vs keeping the meta data from previously loaded patch.

Echo node initialization issue fix.

Mono-oscillator pan parameter issue fix.

Added code to make sure to clear all MIDI pedal input messages on transport stop.

Stability enhancements to potential race condition crashes with random/next/previous buttons under heavy load/rapid repeat triggering of those requests.

Universal UAD-2 Software Update

Post by James Steele »

Version 10.2.5 out now.
Support for Apollo Twin X USB
Immersive audio support for Apollo x16
Support for UA Sphere DLX and LX microphones
Hitsville Reverb Chambers
PolyMAX Synth
C-Suite C-Axe Guitar Noise Suppressor
Compatibility with Apple silicon, macOS 13 Ventura, and Windows 11
UPDATE: For whatever reason, in PlugInfo, the version number after the update was still 10.2.4. I did it twice. Looks like UA maybe forgot to update the version number in the new plugs?

UVI Synth Anthology 4

Post by monkey man »

UVI's Synth Anthology 3 is now upgradable to SA4 for $49 US.

What I'd love to know is whether the existing SA3 presets were all replaced or simply added-to. IOW, if you purchase the upgrade, do you still run SA3 as well or is nothing lost by removing it?

Also, the product page says Mac OS X 10.14 to macOS 13.
Would it run on High Sierra 10.13.6 but just not be "supported"?

The upgrade looks to be well-worth-it; included synths are up from 132 in v3 to 200 in v4. 4,767 presets.

Mac 2012 12C Cheese Grater, OSX 10.13.6
MOTU DP8.07, MachFive 3.2.1, MIDI Express XT, 24I/O
Novation, Yamaha & Roland Synths, Guitar & Bass, Kemper Rack

Pretend I've placed your favourite quote here

Re: Plug-in Updates Sticky Topic

I ran a number of NI Updates last week and was having issues getting DP to launch—even after trying all my usual tricks.

Yesterday, Kontakt 7 and two others showed up again. I ran them, shut down and rebooted (Kontakt updates often require this). DP launched and authorized without any grief the first time.

Native Access also updated itself and has a different look closer to NA1. It was easy to find my way around but I don’t see any real changes otherwise.

Flux IRCAM Verb and Verb Session (possibly others)

Post by James Steele »

Flux IRCAM Verb and Verb Session (possibly others)

Flux has some updates out. Flux Verb and Verb Session updated from v23.7.0 50311 to v23.8.0 50321

Probably other plugs updated also but I only own those so I don't know. Run the Flux Center app to check. Not sure what changes are because Release Notes on their website are not current.

UPDATE: Be aware that their latest installers leave some garbage in the relevant folders after install. You'll see empty folders named "_MACOSX." PlugInfo will show these to be plugs with 0B size. You can delete them. Believe it or not I reported this the LAST TIME it happened and they said they'd fix it. Maybe it's their installer causing it?

New version available through the Steven Slate Audio Center app. Really the only change was support for 30xxx series headphones.

I found out at GearSpace that apparently they are different 'cause v3 is a single synth at a time and v4 is "dual".

So, it would appear that we need to run both at once to derive maximum value for money.
