Someone should have told them not to copy off of IK Multimedia (easily the most self-promoting adware of all time).

Altiverb 8.06 update released

Post by James Steele »

Not sure WHEN Audio Ease dropped this, but 8.0.6 is out and I just downloaded it. Really wish they'd send an email out when they do this, but oh well. Not sure what changes were made.

Is that a typo? I have no idea what they mean with "concert" as a verb? Hmmmmm

I missed that. Looks like a typo.

Maybe they meant "converts"?

Wave Arts Updates

Post by James Steele »

I hadn't been by Wave Arts in a while and noticed a few things were updated including Tube Saturator Vintage to 1.10 and Convology XT to 1.30

https://wavearts.com/products/plugins/t ... or-vintage
https://wavearts.com/products/plugins/convology

If you have some of their plugs might want to stop by there and check in your user area.

WaveArts multidynamics is one of my favorite plugins. I also have Convology and got a couple really nice IR packs from the sister company called Impulse Record.

WaveArts is underrated. Awesome plugins/developer

Agreed about being underrated! I also have Final and Track Plug and they’re really useful.

Boz Pan Knob 2 updated to 2.1.1

Boz Pan Knob 2 updated to 2.1.1

Not sure when it happened. Boz Digital doesn't really seem to notify users about much of anything except new sales. The link on the download page reads "Pan Knob 2.1.0 (Mac)" however the installer package itself indicates it's version 2.1.1 and that's what was installed when I ran it.

PSP updated their PSP42 plugin. This is the newer AS-native version... not the legacy obviously. :)
Has anyone tried the Intel version of this update? It seems like all the controls are working, but the input meter (labeled "Headroom") isn't working on my system (it's not lighting up, so I have no way of knowing what the input level actually is). I've tried cranking the input all the way up, and I can hear it, but I can't see it.
Replying to my own post. Just wanted to mention that this issue has been resolved with the latest version, 2.0.2.

Has anyone succeeded in using PSP's 608MD AU on Apple Silicon? I keep seeing plugin failed.

The VST and VST3 don't fail but I used the AU on a lot of old projects and have to revisit those now and then.

Repeated inquiries to PSP have not yielded a response. Perhaps they'll show at NAMM this year and I can talk to them then.
