I thought you folks might be interested in the sort of music I do in DP. I like to make full symphonic arrangements, pretty much in the Pops orchestra vein. I specialize in popular music of the last century, a lot of movie themes, and what I like to call Orchestra Folk—which is folk music (both authentic and ersatz) fully orchestrated. This is a suite of folk songs about trains, because who doesn’t love trains?

Exactly — who doesn't love trains?

Re: A sample of what I do
Thanks for your reply, Mike.
Here is another of my arrangements, three of Irving Berlin’s earliest hits. I might add that my work is all done with virtual instruments; nothing is live. There is one soundbite in here: the slide whistle, because I didn’t have a VI for that. I have a subscription to a soundbite service, Soundsnap, I believe it is called. That’s where I find most of my sound effects.
