Just bought the 828mkII. Up graded from a m-audio quattro. Anyway , with my past set up I ran all outputs from quattro to a 1202 mackie.
Which is where I then could monitor with headphones or just mains etx. If I monitor thru the Motu the head phones and mains are not very loud. Would it be a good idea to send signal from the mains of the Motu to inputs on Mackie and monitor from there. Or have I set the Motu up incorrectly.. You know how learning curves are?

Make sure your sound and alert level are turned up in your sound control panel. It can make a difference depending on your set-up/OS. The Motu's headphone volume should have plenty of oomph!
