Hey people. Happy New Year!
I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on which hard drive I should put the samples on. The one in my iMac or my external one. I have my recorded audio tracks on the external drive.
Which hard drive to put the samples on?

If it's a Firewire drive you should be fine. I wouldn't try streaming from a USB drive. But if you can put the samples and your audio on an internal drive, access will be much faster. Just be sire they are separate from the OS drive.

Thanks! It's a firewire drive. I will leave them there.

I think the best way of carrying your favorite music with you is to load it into your walkman or iPod memory.
Also USB flash drives look very convenient. And let's not forget about removable hard drive. Also works for me.
