Help! Ethno / Cubase

Hope someone can help - recently purchased Ethno, loaded it on my studio set-up (Windows) - no problems (and sounds fantastic, have to say).
Loaded it onto my laptop (also Windows XP), but any time I try putting any or all of the .dlls into my Cubase VST folder, Cubase freezes on opening. Am I only allowed one instance (if so, can I buy some kind of extended license), or have I installed improperly? It works fine on the laptop as a standalone, so i-Lok and authorization good.
