Super Duper! and CCC are APIs for Time Machine and Disk Utility.
Again, CueMix is part of your UltraLite. The driver lets you have access but can't add any functionality that wasn't there.
That's how it works for most of us on Intel Macs. Apple Silicon can be a bit more complicated because of the built-in security.installed Sonoma over top of Catalina with the existing driver I'm using & everything seems to be happy & its the old version of Cuemix too.
