Hello,
I have a powerBook 1Ghz. 17'. DP 4.12 and motu firewire interface 896. All of these products are great but i have a problem with the sampler MachFive. it is very powerful but the CPU resources of my powerbook are inssuficient.
I work too much with sequences and samplers so ¿What computer I need to buy to work fine with MachFive?
Excuse me my english, I'm learning now.
Thank you.

Hola,
Buy the fastest computer you can afford. I had a powerbook 550 MHz, and had to switch with to a G5, It wouldn't run properly with Mach five plus some other Virtual Instruments. I was very limited. Remember to put in a good amount of RAM.

Re: MachFive and PowerBook
Thank you for your reply.
I have all the Ram that's possible in a PowerBook (1Ghz.).
the PowerBook is perfect for audio working but i have problems if i use some samplers and effects.
I'm thinking to buy a G5 dual at 2'5 Ghz. It's a good option?

Sure, it is a good option. Make sure that you put in at least 2 gigs of RAM
