clip contents in event list?
When I look at the event list for a track I notice that the contents of MIDI clips are not shown there, only a single entry for the entire clip is showing in the event list. Is there some way I am missing to cause the event list to actually show all the MIDI events including inside clips or a way to...

Does Unisyn actually work on this? How does it access MIDI interface? Kind of interesting if it actually works

Re: Steinberg PADSHOP and GROOVE AGENT crashes my DP 11
Same here. I have an open support ticket at Steinberg related to GA crashing DP.
Padshop has been working ok for me though, very limited testing. How did you get it to crash?

Re: Crappy Workaround for Alphabetizing Categories in Plugin Menus (SEE BETTER WAY IN THREAD!)
ps - i guess the best way to completely sort an existing categories XML would be to edit the XML or write a script to edit the XML.. I will have to ponder that for a rainy day.

Re: Where can I find more MIDI Insert "plug-ins" like Humanize?
the best and easiest thing MOTU could do in the near term is to provide AUmfx slots above the instrument plugin slot on instrument tracks. this would essentially be what LogicPro provides. This would be an entirely easy thing for them to add, and would open up a large amount of MIDI plugin processin...

Re: MIDI latency issue
there was another thread a year or so ago where we got into this and I spent some time trying to debug and it even ended up with some bug reports to MOTU, which still hasn't fixed it as far as I know...but anyway, bottom line is that the you want to disable the little preference they mentioned earli...

Re: MIDI latency issue
Try adding a second Master Fader with no plug-ins and when you want to do an overdub, move it to the left of the Master Fader with the plug-ins in the Mixing Board. I discovered you can have TWO Master Faders. The one that is leftmost in the Mixer (or perhaps earlier in the track order in the Track...

Re: Articulation Maps: route CC data to MIDI channel
I am in the process of updating the EventChaser script mentioned above, to handle the continuation issue missing from DP's articulation manager. So basically this means, DP does MOST of the work of forwarding CC, PitchBend and AT messages from the source track to any different MIDI channels when art...

Re: Articulation Maps: route CC data to MIDI channel
I totally forgot that I made that PNS script! I need to test it out again to verify that it actually works...but I guess it must have worked or I wouldn't have shared it. Anyway, MOTU did add some partial support for this into DP11 at some point...it was in a follow up update to DP, not in the initi...

Re: MIDI playback timing sloppiness help
the M1 has 8 performance cores and in some cases DAW"s were just using the performance cores. Newer models are providing less performance cores and more efficiency cores...and some DAW's are only using the performance cores (not DP as I understand it). Some are using both, and I don't know the ...

Re: MIDI playback timing sloppiness help
Well what I can say is that there has been a lot of talk lately about Apple Silicon and core usage on the LogicPro side of things..don't know what else to say. Timing should always be dead perfect to software instruments, so that sounds like a bug to me, make sure to report it to MOTU.
