Re: Sonoma 14.4 crash/kernel panic/reboot with Kontakt 7

NA2 is not showing the 7.10.1 update for users running Sonoma. If you were on an earlier version of macOS, you'd see it.

Re: DP Gripes, and things that have (almost) pushed me to Cubase

OK, I've griped... Sorry to hear of your troubles. I'm running Soundtoys without issue on my M1 Mac Studio. Don't use/have the other plugins you mentioned. I've got a couple of bug reports in to MOTU at present (SE Window MIDI note visibility and weird MIDI note drag, both reported in this forum) a...

Re: SpectraLayers 10 is a life saver, for legacy projects

All my old analog (and a lot of digital) tapes burned up in 2003 Cedar Fire.

So there is no basement here. :surrender:

Re: Cursor Hand Goes Missing

I get the occasional stuck tool, but a little moving around seems to quickly restore normal performance.

So strange how different, yet similar, systems demonstrate such disparate flaws.

It is a bother, for sure. You might want to submit a Support Ticket, too. Make that wheel squeak a little louder.
MOTU is logging as a bug.

Re: MOTU M2 low input volume

I have to restart the Reface in order to get the sound back to normal Please review my fist post in this thread. Possible cause/fix. Your MIDI keyboard could well be the culprit if it is sending out spurious CC Messages. Restarting the Reface will clear, and get volume back to normal until another ...

Re: AVB Interfaces Losing Sync with Browser Mixer

No, I haven't tried that. In my live scenario I will just be using the ethernet connection to access it. In fact, that is all I ever use for the web interface (i.e., I don't use USB for that). The last time this happened, there was no host computer powered up at all. I'm not sure what other sequenc...

Re: AVB Interfaces Losing Sync with Browser Mixer

Yes, power cycling works, but is a poor solution generally, but especially considering the restart time of an 828es. I get that. What I meant is: have you explored whether there may be a start up (power on) sequence for the computer and all attached gear that prevents the problem from appearing? In...

Start Up and Shutdown Power Sequencing... came upon in another thread recently. Once I find a sequence that prevents issues, I follow it.
