Re: MOTU DP 10 Webinars

And just like that, the next in the series is up and ready. capturing and comping your best takes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pjj1VPZ2Prk I just noticed that there's an annotated (and linked!) sub-topic timeline in the description on YT. I don't know if they're present in the previous vi...

Re: MOTU DP 10 Webinars

I got a few minutes in, but will have to check out the rest later. But man, what a great start: "We're talking to the guy who actually wrote the manual." Yes! :koolaid: This collection is gonna be quite a great resource once rolled out, for sure. I'm sorta glad they're not all available a...

Re: MOTU DP 10 Webinars

I certainly wasn't being critical of the excellent job Matt is doing in his demos. I've only seen the first two thus far, and have gotten lots of good stuff out of them already. I just wish I wasn't feeling like I'd spent an hour and a half working in DP with my glasses all smudged up. 8)

Re: MOTU DP 10 Webinars

Agreed; I was surprised the first one was only available at 720p, so it's perplexing why it hasn't been upped yet 'cause I'd have thought feedback would've been provided by now... Thank you for the heads-up, Bill. :headbang: My pleasure, Mr. m. I too was surprised by the 720p max. Lo-fi isn't a goo...

Re: MOTU DP 10 Webinars

Hey all. Looks like another webinar video has gone up. "Tools for the pros". Watched the first half-hour so far and it's gone over tools in the tool panel one by one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnEYNsJxMeA I really wish they were higher resolution though. Pretty tough to read on-scree...

Make sure you're editing the clips layer of that track. I've missed that plenty of times.

Page 163 in the manual:
To hide or show columns in the Track List, choose Track Columns Setup from the Tracks window mini-menu. As a shortcut, you can double-click any column heading instead. The Column Setup preferences appear.

Re: Live Streaming: The Bad, the Ugly, and the Worst!

The above Youtube link fixes the audio for music issue perfectly but you have to enable it for every session. At least it works, which is great news. Thanks for the links. I have a love stream at 8PST tonight so we'll see how it works... Glad you found it to be useful, Michael. I don't have a need ...

Re: Live Streaming: The Bad, the Ugly, and the Worst!

I just recently came across this DAW plugin that deals with at least part of this issue: https://audiomovers.com/ Ian Shepherd has a great video overview of it on his Production Advice site: https://productionadvice.co.uk/remote-audio/ I haven't tried it out myself, but this thread seemed like a goo...

Re: Project Cherry Picker!!!

Would love to see a modern patch editor, for old synths. I've been using Patch Base for the past several months and it does great by me. I have a couple Roland synths, and Roland can't be bothered to keep XV Editor alive for some reason. Patch Base covers lots of old synths, but you buy just...

I was gonna mention Vinyl too, but the system requirements weren't up to snuff. Maybe they just don't refresh that page anymore; been around a long time.
