Re: PCI 424 resources issue
Have you checked the BIOS for PCI/PCIe settings? There's usually some stuff in there re how the slots are configured, i.e. timing, speed. Have you tried moving slots (if another PCI available)? Either that or remove the card, restart without the card in, stutdown and reinstall the card? The days are...

Re: windows 11 pro
All good here on Win 11. I can't remember any issues with the OS causing problems. That doesn't mean there aren't any. Most of the changes are cosmetic, but don't effect any apps. Under the hood all pretty much the same.

Re: Motu M2 Issue with Siri and Dictaion
I just tried Dictation with an M4 and 2023 MB Air on Sonoma without issue. Do you have Dictation configured properly in Keyboard Settings? It only works with a microphone connected to In 1, but that's probably because it's expecting a mono source and just defaults to the first available stream for a...

The Facebook replay of the most recent webinar is always limited. I think it's 48 or 72 hours then they're removed.

Re: The time has almost come..
The file referred to in the error is a P Lite installer file. Did you already try to remove stuff manually? Download the P Lite installer from here: https://motu.com/en-us/download/product/367/?details=true&page=3 Run the installer. It may not give you the option to uninstall so you would have t...

Re: AVB Interfaces Losing Sync with Browser Mixer
No, I haven't tried that. In my live scenario I will just be using the ethernet connection to access it. In fact, that is all I ever use for the web interface (i.e., I don't use USB for that). The last time this happened, there was no host computer powered up at all. I'm not sure what other sequenc...

Re: Problem when using an 828mk2 as ADAT expander (standalone) - only 4 channels work
Not familiar with that interface. I use a Behringer ADA8200 for an expander, so no laughing. The UCM is set to 44.1k also. It should be pretty straight forward. It looks as though either the UCM isn't sending ADAT 1-4 or you need to recheck the first 2 mixbus and level settings on the mkII.

Re: Problem when using an 828mk2 as ADAT expander (standalone) - only 4 channels work
I should probably get another optical cable to test, true ... Not necessarily. It's been my experience that optical cables are either good or bad - there's not a partially working scenario. What is the main interface? So ADAT out from the main interface to ADAT in on the mkII, the optical in on the...

Re: Problem when using an 828mk2 as ADAT expander (standalone) - only 4 channels work
Are you trying to connect 2 828s together in standalone mode or is the main interface something else? The issue could be on the receiving end.

Re: Mixing Board size question
It probably won't be persistent if you close the floating mixer window and then pop it out again. Create a Window Set and you should be able to get back to the sized mixer regardless of opening/closing windows or the project.

Re: Mixing Board size question
In the OP it shows the mixer being opened in the Consolidated Window. Won't it always be the case that any tab in the CW will be full size including dead space? If you pop the mixer out of the CW and size it, create a Window Set. When you call up that Window Set the mixer should be sized correctly.

Re: Remote Control of DP with Control Surface
You need to do a little more research into control surfaces. Mackie and HUI are two different protocols for control surfaces. Both of these protocols support what you want as long as the control surface has a meter/meters. Your reference to only controlling MIDI tracks is pretty off base. Check out ...

Re: Assembling MIDI tracks from multiple takes
Something that looks great on paper and mostly for simple stuff . . . Select a section with the I-Beam (so you get all the underlying controller data) and pack that into a clip. Repeat on the different sections you want to use. Assemble those clips into a new track. Having snap to grid would be easi...

Re: Run a legacy DP setup in a Macbok M3 virtual machine
Maybe think about moving to Windows. The support for your Mac legacy plugs may be supported in current Windows configurations without issue. If you were up to date on everything Mac, I wouldn't consider this recommendation. Being dependent on legacy, you've got a better shot with Windows at this poi...
