Well that flies in the face of logic (excuse the pun) that USB is faster than Firewire! Might just leave the ULM3 connected to its PSU and use USB for everything then? Hi there, Well I have had to pack up my first MOTU UltraLite MKIII back in its box because of a noisy S/PDIF input problem when first turning it on. The noise decreases to zero when it has been on for a few hours and is fine again until I power it down overnight and switch it on again in the morning...
