DVD/CD archives -yikes, its getting to find any more. I purchased 200 disc of each a few years ago the good ones that took over Taiyo Yudens machines. Haven't used much at all

Can you post a link to a picture of your routing matrix? Are you using a preset? Yeah, it takes a while to get your noggin' around the matrix.. Not familiar w/ Logic, but you have to make sure the audio tracks are going into the "to computer" inputs of the matrix and you activate( enable) ...

Yes, check your preferences for audio files - its probably on convert on import.
