Re: Do's ans Don't's for a Crash free DP
I can't believe it... DP7 is in no way more stable than DP6!? I'm done. It's time to start saving the piggy bank again. Logic looks to slow and cartoony for me. The only other choice is the mother ship, Pro Tools and with Pro Tools 8 things look pretty good. I don't want to settle with LE and use a ...

SansImage,
I hear you Bro. I'll make this short and sweet. Did you upgrade to DP 7 yet? And if so, is it working better? Thanks. From what I've been hearing, Logic seems to be pretty solid right now.

Re: Do's ans Don't's for a Crash free DP
Of course, sorry Frodo :) Can I gripe for a sec? Does it seem to me that no sooner did DP 6 come out that DP 7 was close on it's heels? They didn't even work out some of the basic bugs before the new paid upgrade. I know this economy sucks right now, we're all suffering, but spending a few more mont...

Re: Do's ans Don't's for a Crash free DP
First, I'd like to thank all of you for posting. I don't feel so alone in the DP crash arena any more. I love DP, LOVE IT! But can not handle it much longer. Daily it crashes. Almost every time about 4 -5 hours in, BAM! (DP 6.03) It could be caused from simply moving a MIDI note, to the play back wh...

 Thanks Mark. With one problem solved another one arrises. I think I'm going to stick with 5.01 and go with a version of Finale. Thanks for your replies guys. Frodo, might I ask. Have you used Finale Allegro? Since I don't need the Garritan samples and the ability to have a staff that consists...

Anybody else having this issue with DP5?
I'm using DP5.01 right now and for some reason in Quickscribe when I try to use the Dynamics Palatte to place dynamic marks on the staff, it doesn't place. The Arangement Palatte works fine and the tools, but not the Dynamics Palatte... what gives?? Is everybody else's Dynamic Palatte in Quickscribe...

De Flaming... does it work?
De Flam, it sounds like a neat thing, but it's not giving results. I highlight a group of MIDI notes on a track, that haven't been quantized, choose de flam, and nothing moves to the "average" attack time... Any ideas??

In the middle of MIDI
Ya know in DP, when your playing back MIDI, the wiper must first go over the beggining of the MIDI hit before it sounds. Like if you have a real long note and you start the playback wiper mid way threw the note, it won't sound, it must start at the beggining. Is there an option that you know of that...

Another 4.61 bug...
Is anybody getting this one?? I have about 5 chunks I'm writing for a film and I want to play them over each other in the song menu. We'll whenever I click the blue arrow to activate the song in the chunks menu, CRASH! everytime... 4.6 however is just fine when I do this. I have a feeling that my Ga...
