Okay, I absolutely love Billy Joel, so please don't think I am knocking him or anything-I just want to know that I am not the only person to hear that he was obviously using an auto-tune rack and it was completely ruining his performance of the star-spangled-banner. Please tell me I'm not the only o...

all these answers are great! now...the project is over! What would be the best way to compact this whole project without loosing any soundbite files, (just in case he comes back wanting more changes.) REMEMBER, now each song is its own file with the total amount of soundbites stored in each file. (if...

I just mixed a live performance cd. i am not going to send it off to get mastered b/c its a low budget thing, but i would like the volume (or i guest the "average volume") of each song to match. Is there a cheap way to do this? i stumbled on a program called Peak LE for 99bucks. It mention...

I'm just getting into the recording thing, but seems like 9 out of 10 acoustic guitars i record, sound bad in the first place. Not adjusted right, etc. But if the guitar happens to sound good, my GT55 mic and vintech preamp sounds pretty good to me. The mic is only $300 and the preamp about $1400.
