Love Funk Logic. Very transparent sounding, no noise or coloration whatsoever.James Steele wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 10:48 am Does anybody remember Funk Logic? Looks like they just have one fake faceplate model now.
They have 1, 2 and 3-space rack mount units, plus 500 Series now. Freestanding desk model as well.

If nothing else, have it flash its lights to further enhance the studio magic.James Steele wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2024 4:31 pm I just found my old rack mount external clock unit. It’s a Lucid GENx192. I have some empty spaces to fill up. I’m gonna throw it in the rack and do some experiments with it.

Did you set up the TV to work at 60Hz and in Game (low latency) Mode? Otherwise, it is gonna' feel laggy. No reason it should slow down your computer.

Yikes!
I've not had a similar experience, but my 828ES is used in a more typical studio setup.
Hope the show goes ok!

Re: Audio vs Aux tracks in template
Every Audio/VI track has a similar "Enable" button. V-Racks can include more than a single track and can be utilized across multiple Chunks within a Project but, unlike V-Racks, Audio/VI tracks can be automated. In my template, I have each VI hosted in a Track; all Tracks start out Disable...

Re: Audio vs Aux tracks in template
One could bypass the "Convert all VIs to Audio" step prior to mixing and just go right to stem busses which feed audio tracks(for stem recording) and also fold down to the stereo audio mix...
That's what I've been doing. But my template is not nearly as expansive as Chris T's.

None. :smash: Let me take this opportunity to remind you of something you probably already know: you could increase the speed of your 2010 Mac Pro significantly for a total of $80 or less. Here is a link to a U.S.-based seller of used X5690 CPUs, the fastest CPU your Mac can use. https://www.ebay.co...
